hi,
see engineering mathematics have 15- 20 marks questions in gate exam and this part is mandatory for all candidates. however you should follow any standard books like bs agarwal or das and pal engineering maths book. once you get the basic ideas of each chapter then try to solve questions papers of previous gate exams. you may follow made easy 10 years question bank or ace academy question bank.
same preparation strategy is applicable for discreet mathematics. discreet mathematics is one of the scoring subject for gate CSE aspirants. text books for discreet mathematics you may follow is mentioned below:

Hello aspirant,
I will strongly recommend a book 'Engineering Mathematics by Made Easy Publication'.
All the theorems/formulas/topics have been very well described in it with examples. Most of the questions asked in previous papers of GATE have been solved as well.
For linear algebra, watch the video lectures from MIT professor Gilbert Strang. Watch all his videos. By the end, you will be able to answer almost all Gate questions related to linear algebra with “ease”.
For calculus, series, complex numbers, trignometry use the GK Gate book theory part. (do not try to solve GK book problems, most of them are erroneous and waste of time).
Kenneth Rosen is the best book for discrete Maths. Concepts are well explained and there are lot of problems for practice after each topic in a chapter. For more problems you can also refer Schaum Series for Discrete Math .For Graph theory, you can refer Narsingh Deo. For probability you can refer A first course In Probability by Sheldon. Thankyou
Dear Student,
There are so many forms of study mode. You can study offline or online mode and you can study by yourself from books also. Now it's upto you that where you are comfortable. You can study from,
Etc.
otherwise you can take help of the books, like, Schaum Series for Discrete Math etc. So, at first make a summary of the syllabus and then start in a planned way.
thank You.
