GATE 2018, I have given Gate 2017 and qualified with AIR 4K, if I give Gate 2018, and get a new scorecard, does my old scorecard still count?

The Gate score card is valid for 3 years and if you talk about the score then your best score will be considered like for M.Tech admission the earlier score will be valid but for PSUs the current score will be counted.
Also, can you please share are you aiming for M.Tech or PSU recruitment?
