see cutoff score changes every year and it depends on various factors like number of participants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix. etc. however ms and phd courses cutoff is compare to less then mtech cutoff. iits offers phd courses to candidates who has completed mtech on relevant discipline. after btech you can go for 3 years ms courses in iit guwahati, iit madras, iit hyderabad, iit mandi.
