GATE cutoff for Electrical engineering is varies year to year due to factors like :

1)Total number of applicants

2)Difficulty level of the gate paper

3) department wise number of M.Tech seats available.

since yet for the academic year 2019, gate cutoff was not yet released, i will tell you the previous year cutoff's for electrical engineer

regarding general category, the cutoff is 29.1

regarding OBC, is 26.1

regarding sc/st/ph , cutoff is 19.4 .

so we can come to an assumption that atleast a range of 35 , is the cutoff for general category for GATE electrical engineering cutoff and 29 for obc and 20 for sc /st/ph.

GATE cutoff for 2019 qualifying cutoff for electrical engineering will be released shortly.

Following is the GATE cutoff for ee for previous years:

• 2018: Gen:29.1, OBC:26.1, SC/ST: 19.4
• 2017: Gen: 25.20, OBC: 25.20, SC/ST: 16.70
• 2016: Gen: 25.1, OBC:22.5, SC/ST: 16.7
• 2015: Gen:25, OBC: 22.5, SC/ST: 16.67
