Hi aspirant!!

JEE is an entrance exam , whose main purpose is to secure a seat into IIT’s or NIT’s or other private institutions that accept admission based on performance in JEE.( For BE and B.tech courses)

GATE exam is used for seeking admissions into IIT’s or NIT’s for masters and it is also mostly sought for getting jobs for psu.( And for M.tech course)

It doesn’t make much sense in comparing the above examinations, you can compare JEE and EAMCET or GATE and PGCET.However various parameters can be analysed any exam. So you cannot judge which one is difficult because the main purpose of both is exams are quite different.

Hope this help

Have a nice day

Hello Aspirant

The Difficulty level of an exam depends on various factors, like your knowledge, the type of exam, conducting institutes etc. Now, if you have proper knowledge and has practice tons of questions then, you can clear any exam without any stress and with good numbers.

Now, taking about GATE and JEE Main, GATE is for undergraduates and JEE Mains is for students who have done their class 12th and want to take admission in undergraduate program. Both the exams have different level and so is their difficulty. You can't compare both exams.

When you are giving JEE Main, you have studied topics according to Class 11th and 12th. But, when you are giving GATE exam, you have done studies in engineering for past 4 year. That makes a difference between your knowledge and your approach to solve problems.

Hope this helps and all the best.

Dear student,

Firstly, Both the exams are different from each other. One is for Postgraduation and other is for graduation.

Both the exams are difficult at their own level. As you cross 12th class you will find JEE tough. And when your knowledge increases after doing graduation then the exam level also increases according to your degree.

So both exams can't be compared.

Thank you.
