Gate is qualifying compelcery for Amie exam

AMIE is one of the certification given by INSTITUTION OF ENGINEERS,india.this is equivalent to B.Tech.
this qualification can earned by passign section-a,project work,section-b exams of the institution.Since it is considered as B.tech, you can do m.tech after AMIE.for this you should score in GATE exam.
so if you wanna do m.tech,then you need to give GATE.
