GCET is basically for what? like NEET is for MBBS and BDS and Homeopathy so GCET will be useful for what?
GCET is for Engineering, Artichecture( also NATA) and Pharmacy.
DTE Goa will conduct GCET 2018 for admission to undergraduate engineering courses in state engineering colleges in Goa onMay 8 & 9, 2018. Application forms will open tentatively in 1stweek of April. There will be two sets of GCET 2018 application forms Form A and Form B. To appear in GCET 2018 candidates have to fill Form A. Before filling the form, candidates must ensure they meet the prescribed eligibility criteria, like age limit and academic qualification. GCET 2018 will include three subjects -physics, chemistry, and mathematics, and the test for each subject will be held separately. The exam duration of each subject is 120 minutes and each paper will have 75 questions. The total marks is 225, and there is no negative making. Candidates who qualify GCET 2018 will have to participate in counselling round, which will start tentatively in 3rdweek of June. To participate in GCET 2018 counselling, B.Tech aspirants will have to fill Form B (B1 by B.Arch candidates). Candidates will be invited for counselling based on their merit rank. The result of GCET 2018 will be declared tentatively in 3rdweek of May, 2018.GCEThas five participating institutes offering B.Tech/B.Arch programmes and offers around 1300 seats. There is no state level entrance now for MBBS/BDS program so there is no GCET MBBS exam as well but the counseling will be done separately for Goa state/private colleges and it will be conducted by the particular state only so in case you want to get into Goa colleges in MBBS then you are advised to apply for NEET, crack it with required score then apply for its state counseling.
Also, if you want to go for deemed and AIQ then for both of them then separately you will have to apply.
