General: 36 Seats

OBC category: 21 seats

SC: 12 seats

ST: 6 seats

Foreign National: 12 seats  &

Kashmiri Pandits and physical handicap: 2 seats.

MA in Political Science in JNU is offered by Centre for Political studies (JNU CPS).

The Centre for Political Studies at present admits around 80 students ( excluding direct foreign admissions) to the MA programme each year. Last year i.e. 2019 the number has risen to more than 120 students.
