Hello aspirant,
In order to get admission in NIT one has to write JEE Main conducted by NTA and has to crack it with good rank. The last year cutoff for JEE advanced was as follows:
General: 89
OBC: 74
SC: 54
ST:44
You have got 80 percentile. Hence, you estimated all india rank would be between 170000 to 240000. Also your category rank would be between 6000 to 10000. It is not a good rank even in ST category. Therefore, there is lesser chance that you will get into NIT. If possible you will have to compromise with your branch as well as college.
Work hard and perform well in next JEE Main.
Goodluck
