Hi Pradnya,

See it totally depends on your will and dedication towards NEET. NEET preparation requires a lot of practice and at the same time you have to keep a lot of information in your mind.

At the same time you will also have to complete the course work of Biotech. As biotechnology is a vocational course, its syllabus and course work is too extensive.

I won't say that it is not possible because people do it and some of my friends too have done it. But yes, it requires a lot of work. You will have to skip some outings with your friends and family. You will have to utilise every little free time you get from your biotechnology college for NEET preparations.

I am not saying that you should stop everything that is apart from studies. That will only create more stress because you will not have anything to remove your stress and anxiety.

What I am saying is to low it down and to be more focused for one year regarding your studies for both because you can't compromise for both, be it NEET preparations or the studies of biotechnology course atleast for one year until or unless you don't clear NEET.

I hope it will help and it eventually works out.

All the best!

Hiiii dear!!!! Yes it is absolutely possible to get admission in biotechnology and also study for the preparation of neet as long as you are able to manage both the things. Many students do this and it is better than dropping a year out. But you will have to have a very strict schedule and be regular in both the areas.

Hello aspirant,

I am glad to learn about your interest.

As per your question i do understand the situation.

Biotechnology requires alot...alot of learning, specially cell biology in biotech.

So, you need to prepare for the exams before hand.

Syllabus is different whereas with regular bsc syllabus is very similar.

Both aren't impossible but will be difficult.

All the best.
