Getting job after b.tech is good or bad.(for aeronautical engineering)
Harsha,
There are many factors to be taken into account. Factors like your interest, financial needs, job sector like whether its core/IT/consultancy, higher studies etc..
If the job is in the core sector of Aeronautical Engineering, I would suggest going for it.
If it is not in the core sector and you have thought about doing higher studies then higher studies (M.S. Abroad /M.Tech) is a better option. As postgraduates have a better salary package as compared to graduates as Aeronautical Engineering, is very specialized discipline.
If you have no plan for higher education and IT/ consultancy job prospects interests you then definitely go for it.
You can also go as a scientist at DRDO/ISRO. It is an exciting job opportunity. You will also be able to actively contribute to the nation.
Finally, these are only suggestions it's your choice what you want to do.
Hey, many people consider going abroad after completing their aerospace/aeronautical degrees. Because job oportunities in india are sparse. So most of them get into research, shuft engineering branches, and are eventually forced to give up the idea of becoming and aero engineer. So make sure you know what you are going to get yourself into. Its not a field like cs or it where you can probably get a job anywhere. Its a very specific niche. But if thats what you want, go for it.
All the best
