The placement scenerio at jorhat institute of science and technology is bad and thats the bitter truth. Thanks to poor infrastructure due to lack of proper fund( actually it is under society mood ) ,no auditorium, no separate t&p house,poor lab facilities and many more problems that we are facing.As most companies donot visit new college ,so here on campus record is not good.Out of 120 students( now 240) approximately 30–35 students gets placed in companies like wipro,capegemini,infyosis ,Fci,xaloni etc.you will feel Happy to know that apart from these companies most of our senior s are working on different robotic start–ups. :)
