Actually heterogamety means the production of two types of different types of gametes, one of which can lead you to male offspring and another to female.

For the human being, males are heterogametic. Because in their sperm/ chromosome structure there are two different types  X chromosome and Y chromosome. XX indicates female offspring and XY indicates male
