Hello Pallavi,

Since you have not specified the stream, so I cannot give a direct answer. But, I would still try to help you in creating a stepwise method of creating a general timetable regardless of your stream.

1. Write the names of the common activities you do daily.

The first thing to do is to have an idea of all the common activities that you do in your daily routine, that is, playing a game, sleeping, listening to music, using social websites on the internet, etc.

Write them on paper in order to have a clear vision of them.

2. Write the names of your topics or books that are included in your course

You are tightened several topics or books in your class. Write the names of all the subjects or books included in your course.

3. Calculate the time you have apart from school time and sleep

Taking classes at school and sleeping is part of a student's life. When you comes back to home from your school, you probably have enough time for your activities and common studies until you sleep at the night.

In short, it means that the schedule is made for the duration of the time you have, apart from your school time and before you go to sleep. Calculate how much time you have.

Suppose you arrives at your home from your school at 2 PM, and sleeps at 12 a.m. night. The length of time from 2 PM (when you return home) until 12 AM (when you sleep at night) is 10 hours. It means that you can make your schedule for this period of time.

4. Assign time to each topic and other common activities

When you calculate the amount of time available to you, the next step is to divide this available time into all The subjects and other activities (games of refreshment etc). This allocation of time to each subject or book, it must be done with great care.

Remember the following tips.

  • Some subjects may need more time than others: the amount of time must be allocated on the basis of the duration of the study program, it is easy or difficult to learn it etc.
  • The difficult subject which needs more concentration should give time during those times of the day when you are relaxed enough to concentrate on it.
  • Easy subjects can be given time in the last hours (night), because at night you may feel tired and may not be interested in concentrating on the difficult subjects.

At the end, try to properly allocate the right schedule so you can easily track your time.

Heyy Pallavi....

There is no such thing as a proper time table that someone can give you. You need to manage your time according to your way and needs. As you have less time , just focus on your strong areas and practice them a lot. Don't run after things you don't know as there's a shortage of time instead focus on what you are good at.
