Yes, your son is eligible for admission into class 9th in military school for the year 2022-2023. Sainik School admission for Class 9 is first taken into procedure by applying for AISSEE . And the eligibility criteria for AISSEE Class 9 Application states that the candidate should be a boy who is studying in 8 from a recognized school in India and the student's age must be between 13-15 years as on March 31, 2022 (i.e. DOB should be between April 1, 2007 and March 31, 2009 - both days inclusive). And since your son's DOB is 30th August 2008, so he is eligible for AISSEE and then to take admission into Sainik School.
