Srinath, NEET is the only entrance examination for admission to MBBS Courses across India including Karnataka. However, every State has its own Counselling authority to conduct admissions to 85% Government Medical Seats and Private Medical Colleges. For Karnataka, it is KEA which is Karnataka Examination Authority. Once NEET results are announced and the merit list has been released KEA will release the registration process and complete the counselling and admission process.

COMEDK is an Entrance examination for admission to Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy and other courses in Karnataka. KCET is strictly for Candidates who have the domicile of Karnataka while COMEDK is also for Candidates who do not hold the domicile of Karnataka.
