- The candidate must have passed 12th with 50% minimum Aggregate.
- BCA Admissions are done through both entrance exams and merit lists.
- The reserved category receives a relaxation of 5%. Aside from this, the students need to have mathematics as a subject in class 12. To qualify for BCA admission.
- There is an age limit which is followed by the colleges which are 21 years for the general category. But the reserved category receives a minimum relaxation and has an age limit of 24 years. These criteria may range differently as per the college/ university’s decision.
- A few private universities conduct entrance exams for the students opting for the BCA course.
- Some of the top BCA entrance exams include SET, IPU CET, UPSEE, and BVET.
- Maths is indeed compulsory for pursuing a BCA course. It is an integral part of the BCA syllabus and thus many colleges also ask for Math as a subject in Class 12th for BCA eligibility.
