The eligibility criteria for seeking admission for M.Sc plant biology and biotechnology is one should complete the B.Sc degree with 60% marks in aggregate with Chemistry/ Botany/ Biochemistry/ Genetics/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology as the main subject. The selection is based on your performance in the written test.
The syllabus for the written test is of a B.Sc level.
M.Sc. Plant Biology and Biotechnology entrance examination question paper consists of 100 objective type questions of B.Sc. standard and all are to be answered.
Broadly, the question paper will consist of 40 questions in Botany, 20 questions each in Biochemistry/ Chemistry, Microbiology, and Genetics. Negative marking is applicable for wrong answers.

According to the official notification, the paper of entrance exam for M.Sc. Plant Biology and Biotechnology in University of Hyderabad will be as follows:
M.Sc. Plant Biology and Biotechnology entrance examination question paper consists of 100 objective type questions of B.Sc. standard and all are to be answered. Broadly, the question paper will consist of 40 questions in Botany, 20 questions each in Biochemistry/Chemistry, Microbiology and Genetics. Negative marking (0.33 marks for every wrong answer) is applicable for wrong answers.
So, you need to thoroughly revise all the topics of the corresponding subjects of all three years of B.Sc.
