Hi MVK,
Well for UPSC good optional subjects are those whose study you have done in your bachelor degree. But still some subjects are difficult like chemistry, agriculture and other related ones.
But at the end of the day if you can complete the entire syllabus and can study well then there is no subject that will seem difficult to you.
