Got 10800 rank in kcet am I eligible or qualify for Bsc Forestry/Agriculture
Hello Syed,
B.Sc. forestry and agriculture both require a good enough score and rank to get in most of the colleges. The 2019 cut-off has not been released yet, it will vary between different colleges and will also depend in the difficulty of exam, students applying and the seats available.
The KCET cut-off rank of colleges offering B.Sc. Forestry usually ends at 7500-8000 or it may be lower or higher based on the above written factors.
In 2018, the cut-off rank was-
- College of Forestry, Kodagu dist. - 7919 (3AG)
- College of Forestry, Uttarakhand dist. - 8057 (3AG)
And the KCET cut-off ranks for B.Sc. Agriculture are even lower and usually stop at 3500-4000 for the more preferred colleges.
I'm sorry to say that with your rank, you won't be able to get admission in the more known and top preferred colleges but do not lose hope, keep your options open and look for other Colleges.
Hope this helps.
