According to the information with a JEE Main rank of 420999, securing a seat in the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) branch at top NITs might be quite challenging. However, there are still several options available to you!

You could consider NITs with lower cut-offs or branches with higher availability. Some NITs where you might have a better chance include NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Rourkela, NIT Durgapur, and NIT Kurukshetra . It's also a good idea to check the specific cut-off ranks for your desired branch and category (General, OBC, SC/ST) for a more accurate idea.
