Dear student,
I hope you are doing well.
Now, if we we try to find your common rank on the percentile will be somewhere between 286440 to 322000.
You can check your expected rank yourself by using our rank predictor tool. Below I am pasting the link of it.
Please note that these ranks are calculated on the basis of past years trends, so you can expect slight variation in the actual rank and the expected rank.
As you have not mentioned your category so by considering you a general candidate, unfortunately you might not get any NITs because for general candidates, seats get full till 60,000, 70,000 ranks.
But If you are female candidate from states like Tripura, Manipur, Sikkim or other northeast states then you hold some chance of getting NITs of these states by availing homestate reservation.
You can also use our rank predictor tool to see which colleges are in your rank range. Below I am pasting the link of it.
I hope this answer helps you.
All the very best!!
Hello,
The expected rank with 72 percentile is going to be in between 286440 - 322000.

You have not mentioned your category assuming that you belong to general category you may not get seat in NIT with such rank. You have to qualify in JEE Main to be eligible to get seat in NIT. The previous year qualifying cut off percentile which was 90.3765335 for general category. And the following is the cut off for JEE Main 2020 category wise
- OBC-NCL:72.8887969
- EWS:70.2435518
- SC:50.1760245
- ST:39.0696101
- PWD:0.0618524
Factors such as total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of the paper, total number of seats available determine the cut off so it is subjected to change. You need to have 98-99 percentile in case if you belong to general category to get seat in NIT. If you belong to EWS/OBC-NCL then you need to score minimum 96-98 percentile or above and if you belong to SC/ST category you need to score minimum 94-96 percentile. You have to appear for JEE Main upcoming sessions in order to get seat in NIT.
