Hi Krutika.

Candidates are eligible to apply for All India counselling and state counselling to get into government, private and deemed medical colleges if they secure marks equal to or above the cut off score in NEET. The cut off score this year was 138. Hence, you are eligible to participate in the counselling procedure.

However, it might be difficult for you to secure a medical seat with these marks even in deemed medical colleges. For your convenience, I am listing down a few deemed medical college where you might be able to get admission-

Dr. DY Patil Medical College, Navi Mumbai- 216

Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Karad- 257

Sri Lakshmi Narayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Pondicherry- 187

Meenakshi Medical College, Enathur- 183

Sree Balaji Medical College, Chennai- 190

You can also wait till mop up or stray vacancy round or take a drop if you are unable to secure a seat this year. Other options include MBBS from other countries such as Russia, Phillippines or Ukraine which are budget friendly and will cost you around 30-45 lakhs overall.

Hope it helps!
