There are very few government colleges for management available at Indore. The city of Indore is considered to be the educational hub of the state, Madhya Pradesh. There are several types of courses available in management colleges such as BBA, MBA, Executive MBA, Fellow Program in Management (FPM), Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM), and Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM).

A list of government colleges for management are given below:-

• Indian Institute of Management, IIM, Indore- This institution is approved by the UGC. Courses offered by the IIM Indore are Fellow Program in Management(FPM), Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM), and Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM). The candidates have to qualify for the CAT entrance exam to get admission at the IIM Indore. This institution is ranked 7 out of 100 by NIRF and 6 out of 100 by the Indiatoday magazine. The approximate fee is Rs. 1.6 lakhs

• Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya- This college is also approved by the UGC and NAAC. The courses available here are MBA, MBA in Computer Management, MBA in Advertising Management & Public Relations, BBA, Bachelor of Hotel Management, BSc and BBA in Hotel Management, MPhil in Hotel Management, MBA in Foreign Trade, MA in Tourism Management, and PGDM. One year fees of these courses are Rs. 60,000 (approximately).

• Government Maharani Laxmi Bai Girls PG College- This college is approved by UGC and NAAC. And offers courses on BBA.

• Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Arts and Commerce, (GACC):- courses offered here are BBA, MBA, PGDM, and many more. The candidate needs to qualify for the CMAT exam to get admission to Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee college. The first-year fees for MBA and PGDM courses are approximately Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 50,000

• Educational Multimedia Research Center, DAVV:- The courses available here are MSc Electronic Media Integrated, MBA in Media Management, Ph.D. in Electronic Media.

• Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University of Social Science:- This University is established in 2016  and is recognized by UGC and AICTE
