Thank you for showing your interest in the B.A honours course.  All B.A honours courses revolve around extreme research and skill in a specialized subject of Arts. You will choose your main subject as your specialization . The basic eligibility is to qualify in the 12th grade examinations or a equivalent.

There are a couple of government colleges that offer courses in B.A Hons.

1.Nalanda Open University- This is the only University under the government of Bihar that offers distance learning

The courses are:

2. B.A Hons. In Tourism

4. B.A Hons. In Political Science

5. B.A Hons. in Psychology

6. B.A Hons. in Social work

B. Patna University- It is the first University of Bihar and has been established since 1917

The courses are: .

1. B.A Hons.

2. B.A Hons. in English

3. B.A Hons. in Mass Communication and Journalism .

C.Mazharul Haque Arabic and Persian University-  This is a state University that has been under effect from 1998. They offer a B.A Honours course too.

The courses are typically for a duration of three years.
