You should have specified which category are you referring to, because obviously the marks range for qualifying and getting a seat differ a lot.

So I'd just give you an idea about the general category seats... Generally you'll need at least 575 marks for getting a seat in. Government college. It varies a lot every year, as it might me lesser, if the exam turns out to be tougher for most people and vice verse.

Hello,

You have not mentioned your state or category. You need to score the cut off marks specified by the institute to get seat in GMC and cut off varies from one college to another. In 2019 the highest cut off was for the colleges in Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh etc. The cut off for 15% AIQ seats are higher comapred to 85% state quota seats. You need to score minimum 580 marks if you belong to general category and 450-550 marks or above if you belong to reserved categories. Cut off changes every year, it may increase or decrease depending on number of candidates appeared, difficulty of exam and number of seats available.

Hi

You have not mentioned the category you belong to so I am  assuming  you from general category if you belong to any other category then do let me know in comment .

Can you please help us with your domicile state  as
cut off marks for medical colleges varies depending upon various factors like your domicile state , number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But in general as per past year trends , you should try to get at least around 550 to 600 marks to be on the safer side in your neet  examination to get a mbbs seat in government medical college

For example,
in neet  2019, lowest marks required for general category for getting a mbbs seat in government medical college under UP state quota was 575 and it was for Medical College, Bahraich

Thankyou
