Greetings,
Sachin so if we look at the eligibility criteria of DU LLB entrance exam so it states that the applicants must possess a graduation degree with at least 50 % and 45% in case of OBC and 40 % in case of SC/ST category but the degree should be from the University of Delhi or any other recognised University which means that your college should be a University Grant Commission recognised university .
Moreover a recognised university is said to be the one which provides various courses according to the rules of council formed by government of India . It needs the recognition of University Grant Commission so that the education/courses provided is accepted on central level and needs State Government's recognition on state level . If your college fullfils all these criteria then your degree is valid and you can apply for this entrance exam . For many professional courses , the specific council also needs to recognise it :
CCIM : INDIAN MEDICINE
BCI : LAW
DCI : DENTAL
NCTE : TEACHING
ICAR : AGRICULTURAL
INC : NURSING CCH : HOMEOPATHY
So if you were a part of any professional course degree then your college should also be recognised from these department/councils.
I hope this article might have helped you resolve issues put forth, even after that you are not satisfied or have certain doubts do drop a comment or post another question and I will surely help you out.
Hello Sachin,
Be happy as graduation from open university is also get eligiblity by BCI ie, BAr Council of India. Also If you are an IGNOU student don't worry as it is also recognised university. But you should be eligible to fulfill the requirements by different colleges.
