Hi sai lakshmi priya
Ok, i will say for parallel conections then u can able to do for series connections. Here, we go for it how to calculate error problems in physics. First of all you have to know either it is for jee advance or jee mains we have to know and understand concept in it.
So,
First for parallel connections
We know that
1/Req=1/R1+1/R2
Here Req=R1R2/(R1+R2)
So differntiate first eqn written
At last we will get the final equation as follows
dR/Req=(r2*dr/r1+r1*dr/r2)/r1+r2
This is the final equation to get error.
I think u have undertood this. If u have any doubts plz ask us.
Good luck.
Hi,
For series connection , say we have two resistances A and B. The total resistance will be A+B. So the error will be (error of A) + (error of B).
For parallel connection, result will be AB/(A+B)
For calculating error, in any expression of multiplication or division, the percentage errors of each term are added up to find the equivalent percentage error.
Therefore, here, error =
(let error=□)
□A+ □B +□(A+B)
This is it. All the best!
