GUJCET is mostly conducted for admission to various engineering/technology and Pharmacy colleges of Gujarat. It is not compulsory to write GUJCET for admission to Bachelor's of Computer Application program in colleges of Gujarat.

See the common entrance test in Gujrat after 12th is GUJCET. This entrance examination is compulsory for admission in b-tech or pharmacy in University of Gujrat. But for BCA it is not compulsory. Some college in Gujrat take admission for BCA without the test.

GUJCET exam is the entrance exam in Gujarat for those who are seeking for the admission in Engineering and Pharmacy Courses, the exam is conducted by Gujarat secondary and Higher secondary Education Board (GSEB), so if you are willing to take admission in BCA course in any college in Gujarat, then you do not need to give GUJCET exam, as the exam is only mandatory for those who are seeking for admission in Any engineering or Pharmacy courses.
