GUJCET is mostly conducted for admission to various engineering/technology and Pharmacy colleges of Gujarat. It is not compulsory to write GUJCET for admission to Bachelor's of Computer Application program in colleges of Gujarat.

See the common entrance test in Gujrat after 12th is GUJCET. This entrance examination is compulsory for admission in b-tech or pharmacy in University of Gujrat. But for BCA it is not compulsory. Some college in Gujrat take admission for BCA without the test.
