Hello candidate. Both the colleges GVP and Sree Vidyanikethan are better in their own way. But Sree Vidyanikethan college is good in all the aspects. Electronics and Communucation Engineering (ECE) is a branch of Engineering which deals with Electronics and Communication.The college has good infrastructure and facilities. The college provides peaceful and pleasant environment to study. The faculty here are well experienced. Also the placement here is good. Top companies visit the College for recruitment.

Whatever I describe here is purely my own experience and the time that I spent in this campus. Each and every moment spent here has been a beautiful moment and something that you can cherish down the line. On the academic front, it’s purely based on how you perform in the class coz there is a limit till which the profs or your parents can push you.

PROS:

Infrastructure: Vidyanikethan has an outstanding infrastructure that helps the students in all possible ways. The best thing is Greenery everywhere around the campus. Every department has a dedicated block for itself with spacious classrooms and state-of-art laboratories.

Faculty: Faculty handling subjects for the students are M.Tech qualified. Most of them have a great command on their language and provide good depth in the area of their expertise.

Student Chapter: Vidyanikethan offers complete freedom for the students to pursue their interests in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Each department has its own Association, which are active throughout the year and its completely yours. Students are encouraged to be a part of any activities they want. Placements: Vidyanikethan has shown brilliant placement records every year. Ragging: Dude! What’s that? Proud to say that Vidyanikethan is a ragging free zone. You often see placards’ displaying ragging is banned; ragging is barbaric and even consequences of ragging.

Fests: Previously there were individual fests by different departments. But now the only fest is Mohana Mantra, the annual national level techno-cultural festival. Apart from this, Annual day, this is done on a grand note on the eve of uncle’s birthday. Mohan Babu himself insist students not to call him SIR. So we call him ‘Uncle’. CONS:

Mobiles: Strictly banned. Let’s not talk about that.

Interaction: No boy and a girl should sit together in the campus or even in cafeteria.

Final Year Projects: New Ideas encouraged. It doesn’t matter whether you do it yourself or you buy it. We were a team of 4 member, each one of us paid 5K and we were asked to buy an already implemented project from a list of projects given to us.

Dress Code: Strictly formals. Printed shirts, tight fit trousers and even flip flops are not allowed. Even guards at gate yell at you ‘Cuffs down’

Research: Are you kidding? You hardly find time to do your record work, observations, assignments, mids.

Batch Strength: Heavy intake. Over the past three years, batch strength is increased twice.

Yes, we can learn few moral values in such environments and remember ‘A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor’.
