Has ICSE boards declared the guidelines for mark allocation of 12th std?
ICSE board has submitted in the Supreme Court that it would broadly follow the CBSE Board's decision on conducting the remaining exams in the country or giving students the option to not to physically appear for the 10th, 12th Board exams this year. The Supreme Court has clarified that ICSE Board is at the liberty to tweak the CBSE decision and follow its own informed decision. This means results will be declared based on the assessment of the past performance of the students in internals conducted by various ICSE schools. According to the official press release available at: https://cisce.org//UploadedFiles/PDF/Press%20Release_26.6.2020.pdf (https://cisce.org/UploadedFiles/PDF/Press%20Release_26.6.2020.pdf) , The details of the methodology to be adopted by the CISCE will be released within a week.
Hello aspirant,
CBSE has notified its appraisal scheme to the Supreme Court. Accordingly, those students who have completed all of their CBSE exams will be tested in the exams based on their results. Those who have appeared on the average of the marks secured in the best of the 3 for more than 3 subjects will be given those subjects for which examinations have not been carried out.For those students who have written only 1 or 2 subjects, the results will be announced for the subjects they have not written the exams on the basis of their personal, realistic or project evaluations. And if students want to appear for the tests, they can do so when they are done. ICSE has told the Court that they will follow the same strategy but with slightly different guidelines
I hope this helps
