have the students who have paid SAF to IISER in any round and rejected in later rounds got their fees refunded by IISER in 2020? There's no reply from JAC2020 and the website is now updated for 2021

Hello,
If you are not satisfied with your 1st round choice and want to float then you must accept the oer by paying the Seat Acceptance Fees, as mentioned in the oer letter. Once you have accepted the oer, you would be considered for Float in subsequent rounds provided you have exercised the Float option.
And, if you want to completely withdraw your candidature then it's only possible through the counselling portal. You can withdraw the oer by the stipulated date. There is no cancellation fee if withdrawal is made within this time. However, bank charges, if any, will apply. But if you withdraw from the IISER system after the stipulated date then the Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF) will be completely forfeited and no refund will be made, though it depends on the discretion of the concerned authorities.
So,for the time being write mails to ask-jac@iiserkol.ac.in with the subject line SAF payment.
I hope they will reply you soon and guide you with the refund process.
