Have you passed class xii with mathematics with minimum 55% what does it means overall 12th percentage or only math percentage please explain??

Hi,

Hope you are doing well. Well in most of the cases it would mean that a student should have Mathematics as a subject in 12th and should have attained 55% in all subjects combined. But some entrance exams have also minimum percentage criteria for each subjects also. It would better if you have mentioned for which particular University or exam you are asking this question. In that case I would be able to answer this question more accurately.

They are not enquiring about all your subjects through this question, rather they need to know about just Mathematics.
