A Candidate for admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate examination (10+2) of the Board of Intermediate Education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as subjects or any other examination.
The fee for Computer Science and Engineering here is around Rs.70,000 per academic year.
To get admission in Harcourt Butler Technological Institute, Kanpur you can write any one of the following exams:
- JEE Mains ( paper-1)
- UPSEE B-Tech
In the case of JEE Mains, in 2018, the opening and closing ranks for CSE are:
- 5968 and 13042 resp. in the first round
- 11626 and 16894 resp. in the second round
- 12054 and 18213 resp. in the third round
