HBTU is a government college then why fees is so high ??
Hello Aspirant,
HBTU is a very reputed college in Uttar Pradesh. When it comes to academics, it has decent to very qualified faculty with years of teaching experience. Workshops and laboratories are fairly good and well equipped. The decent number of students get on campus placements at a fairly good package along with many who get placed off campus. It has a good culture due to which many students prepare and clear exams such as CAT, GATE, IES to name a few.s.
Hbtu is a state government college. Fee structure of of hbtu is not high if we compare it with best government technical institute of india i.e. iits and nits. There are two type of government colleges one is state other is central . central government college have low fee structure. If you see fee structure of traditional courses in government colleges you will feel hbtu is charging high but this is not reality as technical education need better labs, workshops, seminars, centre of excellence , guest lecture, industrial tour which you will not need in traditional courses like B.A ,B.SC,B.COM . There are many hackathons, competition, clubs in technical college because of these all activities fee is high for technical education. In iits, nits, being government institutes their fees ranges from 1.23lakh to 1.7lakh per annum.
You can apply for various state government and central government scholarship for your education.
If your family income is less than 1 lakh many college dont charge tuition fee .
Hope this will help
Best of luck.
