HBTU Kanpur b tech admission process

HBTU Kanpur Admission Process 2020:

• Candidates seeking admissions to BTech programme need to appear in UPSEE conducted by AKTU followed by counselling. JEE Main rank holders are offered direct admissions to the programme
• Admission to the MTech and MCA programme is done based on an entrance examination conducted by HBTU Kanpur. GATE qualified candidates are given first preference while seat filling
• HBTU Kanpur PhD admission is done based on written test followed by an interview conducted by the university itself

Candidates need to follow the given steps in order to apply for the BTech, MTech and PhD programmes:

• A candidate needs to visit the official website of HBTU
• Click on the “Apply online” link provided on the menu bar
• The candidate is then required to register by filling the basic details
• After registration, the candidate has to fill the application form details very carefully
• After reviewing the information click on ‘Submit’
• Upload a recent photograph, signature, and thumb impression. The size of the file should not be more than 100 KB with dimensions of 5 cm x 4.5 cm
• Now, the candidate needs to pay the application fee through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking
• After payment, submit the application form

• Class X and XII mark sheet and passing certificate
• Domicile Certificate and Identity Proof
• Category Certificate (if applicable)
• Six recent passport size photographs
