Eligibility criteria to get admission in Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala :
- The applicant must have completed the 10+2 programme with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 60% in three subjects, including Physics, Mathematics, and one of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or a Technical Vocational subject.
- In 2020, 2021, or 2022, the candidate must have earned a passing grade in Class 12.
- Has to have participated in JEE Main 2022.
- Possess a morally upright nature.
- Must be an Indian citizen.
Now as per 2021 data, cutoff percentile (outside punjab)
BE in Computer Science and Engineering - 98.51 ( JEE Main Percentile), 98.67 (Class 12 percentile)
BE in Computer Science and Engineering & Business Systems - 91.71( JEE Main Percentile) , 97.33 ( Class 12 Percentile )
