Dear aspirant,

You will have to take either Biology or Biotechnology and not both. Selection will be made on the basis of marks in the aggregate of 3 Science subjects which are Physics, Chemistry & Biology/ Biotechnology.

While calculating the ‘best four’ percentage for Mathematical Sciences/Science/Interdisciplinary & Applied Sciences, aspirants need to take courses listed in Academic/ Elective subjects for the DU Admissions table into consideration. Apart from that, all the subjects included “(PCM/PCB/PCMB) must have at least 70% theory component of the examination. In case, the subject to be considered does not have a 70% theory component and 30% practical component, then the marks of theory and practical only must be converted to 70% and 30%, respectively on a pro-rata basis.

Hope this helped!
