Hello, Can I get a sample paper of IPU CET exam (the entrance test conducted by Indraprastha University Delhi)
Hello Akshita,
I'm very sorry that you had to wait for a week to get a response from the team. Guess, wait is over!
Annually, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) conducts IPU CET entrance exam to invite admissions into the UG and PG courses in the field of engineering, management, law, computer applications, and science etc.
With reference to the previous statement, IPU CET is also conducted for Master degree programs for all 5 streams including Environmental Management, Forensic Sciences, Biodiversity and Conversation, Natural Resources Management, and Cardiovascular and Thoracic Nursing.
Master of Science in Forensic Sciences is a two-year, post-graduation degree. For getting admission into M.Sc Forensic Science, one needs to appear for entrance exam conducted by different universities; one such exam is IPU CET.
Eligibility Criteria to get admission in M.Sc. in Forensic Science at IP University:

- Entrance exam: IPU CET
- Age-limit: Max. 35 years
Admission of the candidate is based on the rank obtained in Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (GGSIPU CET / IPU CET).
Exam Pattern:
- Section 1 of the paper consists of 50 questions which test the candidate's Logical Reasoning and Analytical Ability, and General English.
- Section 2 of the paper consists of 100 questions, each set of 20 testing different subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Zoology, Genetics, Biotech, Physical Anthropology), Forensic Science, and Mathematics of B.Sc. Level.
Because of the lack of sample papers of IPUCET exam available online, I suggest you go through general sample papers of M.Sc. Forensic Entrance Exam which can give you an idea about the sort of questions that are generally asked in the exam. It's only the exam pattern that changes in most entrance exams, not the topics itself.
TIPS:
- Go through your graduation/B.Sc. syllabus thoroughly.
- Refer to online ebooks for the preparation, there are plenty you can find out there (eg: https://www.pdfdrive.com/forensic-science-books.html , Books of Br Sharma, Dr. Reddy, and Saffestein)
- Go through your 10th and 12th syllabus to brush up your basics.
- Practice sample papers of different universities like DU, Madras University and so on, to have an idea over the variation in the sort of questions asked.
I hope this helps!
Good luck.
