See EBC category gets reservation advantage at state level in some states such as Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana and so on but JEE-Main is a national level engineering entrance examination so you have to enroll under EWS category (you should also check whether you fulfils the eligibility criteria of EWS category at national level or not) or General category and if you don't have your EWS certificate yet then you can apply for General category in first attempt of JEE-Main and when you will get it later on before another shift of JEE-Main (as this year JEE-Main will be conducted four times in February, March, April & May), then you can change your category to EWS later on because the facility will be provided after each attempt.

Note that this application process will continues till January 16th 2021 and last date for payment of application fee is January 17th 2021 after which neither application nor application fee will be accepted and then after the correction window will be opened for the applicants from January 19th to January 21st 2021. Admit cards will be available for download from second week of February 2021 and the examination will be conducted from February 23rd to February 26th 2021 in two shifts per day, for February attempt.
