Yes, people who have done diploma are also eligible to do BTech in computer science and engineering. You would have to tak e admission through lateral entry into second year directly. This also means that you would not be eligible to get admission into top colleges like IIT, nit or IIIT as these colleges do not offer lateral entry into BTech courses. yes .. you can get admission through lateral entry in B.tech Colleges/ Universities with your Diploma .
Eligibility : Min 50% or equivalent CGPA is required in diploma level.
Entrance test: state level( WBJEE JELET, AP ECET, UPSEE etc)
Some top colleges that offers CSE as B.tech degree and accepts lateral entry are as follows :

Yes, you are eligible for studying B.E/ B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering branch through Lateral Entry mode.
Candidates must have passed Diploma in Engineering course in any branch from a recognised College or University.
Admission into Lateral Entry is based on merit obtained in qualifying exam or entrance exam like TS ECET, AP ECET, etc.
