Hello I am 27 years old with non CS background. I want to be a frontend developer. What are the skill and languages should I learn? And can you give me the road map after learning HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
Hello candidate
Since you aspire to excel in front-end web development make sure you are well versed with these technologies:
- Apart from the basics i.e. HTML, CSS JS(JavaScript) enhances the functionality of Front-end development to a higher level.
- A combination of the aforementioned technologies also known as front-end frameworks are required. Some of the famous Frameworks like Foundation, Bootstrap, Materialize CSS.
- As JavaScript is the backbone for front-end development it resulted in the formulation of several JS Frameworks that provide you with better features.
- Some popular JS frameworks include JQuery, Angular JS and React JS.
- GIT is another important technology which helps in Version control management and synchronised development when working with a group.
However, keep the following things in mind before beginning:
- I suggest you not be over dependant on an IDE from the very beginning.
- Practising on a notepad helps you in remembering the correct terminology(classes, styling properties, etc.).
Last but not the least practice is the key to master anything and same is the case with Web development.
