hi,

see admission to prestigious institute like nits, iits, jadavpur university, VIT vellore , IIITs etc is based on entrance test. so with out appearing in any entrance test your loosing your college options for b.tech .

however there is TNEA counselling conducts by anna university , tnea counselling is through online mode, based on 12th score. as per your mpc score you will be allotted colleges under anna university. around 521 colleges participated in TNEA counselling. to appear in tnea counselling applicant must satisfy the nativity criteria. to know in details follow the below link:

Hi

Yes, you can get admission in BTech  without any entrance examination as there are colleges which offer admission based on class 12th marks.

For example,

Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering, Kalavakkam offers admission in btech on the basis of 12th marks.

For your reference,

Here's the selection process for Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering, Kalavakkam  :-

  • Admission is on the basis of % marks obtained by you in Maths Physics and Chemistry, the formula used for preparation of merit is given below

Q = M + ((P+C) / 2),

Where

M, P and C are percentage of marks obtained by you in class 12 the board examination in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry respectively.

  • Then you are shortlisted for admission on the basis of merit

You can get the complete information by visiting our page for which link is provided below

Also,

There are some state level counselling for admission in engineering colleges on the basis of class 12th marks.

  • Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions i. e TNEA :- admission is  on the the basis of your marks obtained in the qualifying exam i.e. 10+2.

  • Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process i.e REAP :-  your admission is through 12th marks and jee main also . 2 seperate merit list are prepared i. e for JEE Main and for admission on class 12th marks basis

  • Madhya Pradesh B.E. Admission :- Counselling is  conducted separately for those applying through JEE Main and  those applying on the basis of 12th marks

  • B.Tech admission at Sastra University:- For stream 1 , counselling is conducted on the basis of jee main and your normalized 12th score. While for stream 2, counselling is conducted completely on the basis of your 12th marks.
