Hello, I am currently pursuing my MBBS degree from abroad. My doubt is: Can we appear for CAT exam without appearing in the FMGE examination? And are NMC-approved foreign medical universities accepted in the top B schools of India, or do we need to give our FMGE examination to be eligible?

Hello,

Yes, you can appear for the CAT exam without appearing in the FMGE examination. NMC-approved foreign medical universities are accepted by top B-schools in India. The FMGE examination is not a requirement for CAT eligibility or admission to B-schools. However, ensure you meet the specific eligibility criteria of the B-schools you're applying to, as requirements may vary between institutions.

Hope this helps you,

Thank you
