Hello I am from jharkhand and I completed my diploma From jharkhand . Can i eligible for Jadhavpur University through JELET
Hi aspirant...!
Hope you're doing great...!
So, with regard you're query. You can take the JELET test if you have a diploma in engineering or technology from a reputable university with a minimum aggregate percentage of 45 percent for the general category and 40 percent for the SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, and PWD categories. For Marine Engineering, all DG shipping regulations must be followed. The exam has no upper age limit for applicants who have diplomas in technology, engineering, or pharmacy. However, the maximum age has been set at 25 for marine engineering diploma holders. Additionally, there is no domicile requirement. You can learn more about the exam, eligibility, exam format, counselling procedure, and last year's cutoff by clicking the link I've provided down below.

Hello Prabhat,
If you hold a diploma in Engineering/Technology or Pharmacy from a recognized university with an aggregate percentage of 45% minimum for General category and 40% for SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B and PWD category, then you are eligible to appear for the JELET exam. In case of Marine Engineering, all rules of DG shipping shall be applicable.
For Diploma holders in Pharmacy, Engineering and Technology, the exam has no upper age limit on application. However, for Diploma holders in Marine Engineering, the upper age limit has been fixed as 25. There is no domicile requirement either.
I am attaching a link down below where you can read up on the exam, eligibility, exam pattern, counselling process as well as last year's cut off.
I hope this helps. Feel free to drop a comment on this thread if there are any more doubts. Good luck!
Jadhavpur University only has 10% of seats available for All India category students, i.e.: students who do not have a West Bengal domicile. This makes the competition tough and you will have to score really good marks in order to safely secure a seat in JU. Looking at cut-off patterns from previous years, you will have to secure a rank between 70-75 in order to fetch a seat for yourself.
Please feel free to drop in more questions if there are any doubts.
Good luck!
