Hello, I am in class 12th/CBSE currently and I want to do marketing manager. So anyone can tell me how much percentage I need for that in class 12th. After 12th my plans for college is MIT, Pune. Please assist me. Thank you

Marketing Management is a course deals about various concepts of marketing strategies, practices and new techniques which vary with the demands and needs of the consumers. Marketing management is generally offered as a specialisation within a management programme which may be undergraduate, postgraduate or diploma such as BBA, MBA, M.Com, B.Com, PGDM or PGPM .

It can be a duration of 3 years after class 12.You can get the admission through the entarance tests like NPAT , SET ,DUJAT, BHU UET , CAT , MAT etc.. and some colleges will directly take you into the college as per your previous academic marks.

To get the admission in MIT Pune the eligibility criteria is

  1. HSC (10+2) from any stream with English as passing subjects and minimum 50% marks (45% for reservation category) in aggregate in 12th standard. OR
  2. Two years / Three years Diploma of Board of Technical Education or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks (45% for reservation category) in aggregate. OR
  3. Minimum Competency and Vocational Courses (MCVC) with minimum of 50% marks (45% for reservation category) in aggregate.

Selection process involves 2 steps

  • Step 1) MIT-WPU UGPET General 2022 - Online proctored entrance exam – 100 Marks
  • Step 2) Personal Interview – 50 Marks

The Postgraduate MBA Program is a full-time, two-year programme connected with MIT-WPU. It is created with national interests and international best practises in mind. Its goal is to match the Program structure and course content to the ambitions of students and the expectations of recruiters. Students can choose from a variety of courses based on their ability and professional aspirations under the choice-based credit system. The eligibility criteria is that passed with a minimum of 50% in the aggregate or a CGPA equivalent (45 percent for reserved categories).

Ministry of HRD recognises equivalent eligible qualifications.

Under section 3 of the UGC Act 1956, bachelor's degrees are awarded by Deemed Universities that have been approved by State/Central Legislation.

Appeared for the final year of a bachelor's degree if basic eligibility was met.

Candidate took the MAH-CET and received a positive non-zero score.

Candidate must have taken CAT (conducted by IIMS) / MAT (conducted by AIMA in February) / XAT (conducted by XLRI) / ATMA (conducted by AIMS) / any other recognised qualifying CET examination and obtained a positive non-zero result.
