hello, i applied for GATE-2019 but email is not verified but the website says OTP sent to you instead i didn't get any mail

In a recent notification released by the GATE authority, it is mentioned that the servers are taking too long to respond because of the load as the registration through GOAPS have increased considerably in last few days. You are advised to submit the application form without waiting any further as the email verification can be done on a later stage as well. Also, mobile verification is easy you can verify that for now and proceed further.
I would also suggest you to open the application form in one tab and the mail box in another. Now, click on verify email and wait for the OTP. Refresh the mail box. If still didn't receive the mail, click on resend OTP and then check the mail. You will have to wait for like 5-10 minutes to get the OTP.
Also, you can fill the application form later in the night, as by then the loads on the servers will be decreased and you can then proceed with the submission.
