You can join CSE computer science engineering in many engineering colleges and you can join NIT's aslo if you score good marks in entrence examination.

You have to take the exam called LEET it is a lateral entry entrance test taken by the deploma students after the complition of deploma. Ycan join engineering colleges in you locality or you can join even IIT's if you score high marks in the following entrance exam.

There is a good scope in future in IT companies after completion of computer science engineering you are in right path. All the Best.

In order to continue with the computer field, you can go for the B.Tech course. You will be admitted in the second year of B.tech. There are many Govt. job opportunities after B.Tech. After B.tech there are a number of govt. jobs are open. Computer teacher in Govt. Colleges and Schools is also a good job opportunity for B.tech candidates. Other private sector job opportunities for candidates after B.tech is given below:

Hi, after Diploma in Computer engineering the following career opportunities exist such as software engineers, system developers, programmers, learn PC hardware so that they can become Hardware Engineers, network engineers.

But i would suggest you to join B.Tech or lateral B.Tech course after completing diploma in any engineering field to get direct entry into the second year. Doing degree course gives better career opportunities.
To get admission, you need to sit for Lateral Entry Entrance Test which is conducted by different colleges. The eligibility criteria differs for different college.
You can also contact the university officials or visit the university website for admission as lateral entry. The admission procedure differs from one college/university to another.
