Hi, so basically you have completed your diploma and want to change your field to Computer Science engineering. To tell you the truth, you can definitely change your branch to CSE in BTech and i am pretty sure you won't find any difficulty in this curriculum provided you are interested in computer science.

Computer science is all about practical work and practical work builds your skills. That is why computer science is easier since you try to implement what you have learnt.

The benifits of branch change is that you can expect good salary package, can get a chance of working in big tech companies and absolutely no field work.

CSE is a very big field and have a very vast job market. The technologies to work on are uncountable. You can choose what you would like to work on and can start working on it.

The BTech CSE is very job oriented, so to sum up your question, there are gonna be more pros then cons for switching your field.

Hope this is helpful
